Pilsley Primary School
Administrative History
Pilsley Primary School. The school was built as a public elementary Board School for mixed infants and juniors in 1875-6. It became a county school, and was administered jointly with Pilsley County Secondary modern by a single board of managers, until the latter’s closure in 1961 (see D3869/1).
Custodial History
The records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office in December 1993.
