This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:

A Mapp of an Estate belonging to Mr Anthony Bradshaw of Holbrooke lying in Makeny and Hollbrooke aforesaid nr Duffield parish in Com. Derb. Surveyed by Thomas Hand An. Dom. 1712. Surveyor:Thomas Hand. Scale:no scale shown. Size: 37 x 23 cm. Materials: coloured ink on parchment. Centred on: SK363451 Notes: no orientation. Shows separate parcels of land, one with a house in elevation, fields named and acreages given: Holbrook Town, Common and Hays marked, 56 acres: endorsed as title and ?earlier hand 'A Survey of Land at Holebrook and Makeney'.
