Administrative HistoryStation Road Primitive Methodist Church opened in the 1870s and amalgamated in 1942 with Sheffield Road Wesleyan Methodist Church. The church building was sold in 1952 and the Sunday School room in 1970.
Custodial HistoryThese records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office via the Central (Saltergate), Chesterfield Methodist circuit in January 1991 as part of D3458, and were re-accessioned in 1993. Further deposits were received in February 2014 and January 2018 (see D3764/UL).
