Archive Creator	Shardlow Primary School
Administrative History	Shardlow Boys and Girls Schools opened as a combined school in 1850 and became separarte Boys and Girls with Infants School in 1871. In 1893 a separate Infants schoolroom was built. The schools were amalgamated in September 1940 as a Mixed Junior School when the older pupils were transferred to Donington School.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in March 1993. Further records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office in July 2010
