Archive Creator	Whitfield Primary School, later St James' Church of England Primary School
Administrative History	Originally the National Mixed and Infant Schools which were amalgamated in 1944 as Junior and Infant School. The school moved to its present premises in the 1970s. Its buildings had previously been West End Council School now part of Glossopdale Community College. The school has since been re-named St James's Primary School.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in January 1993 and May and June 2000.
