Administrative HistoryBrimington Boys school and Hollingwood Girls School were amalgamated in 1977 to form Westwood Comprehensive School. Westwood Comprehensive ceased to function with the reorganisation of secondary education in Chesterfield district in 1991, and has been succeeded by Springwell Community School.
Custodial HistoryTransferred to Derbyshire Record Office in 1992.
