Administrative History | A temporary church called St Aidan's was built in 1896 for the convenience of parishioners of Derby St Alkmund's. Although only originally intended as a temporary structure, it became permanent, but space was limited. In order to accommodate the Sunday School and to serve as a meeting place for social activities, a church hall was proposed. The site was purchased in 1928 and the structure erected in 1930. |
