| Administrative History | Staveley Junior School opened as a mixed junior school in January 1939. Middlecroft Girls Council School, its predecessor, took girls of all ages. The school closed on reorganisation in December 1938 when girls over 11 transferred to the junior school. Staveley Middlecroft Council Junior School, as it was originally called, moved to new premises in April 1973. |
