Description
Indenture of lease from John Kinder of Kinder in the parish of Glossop, yeoman, to John Mariott of Ughill in the chapelry of Bradfield, Yorkshire, yeoman, in consideration of £120, of several closes of land in Kinder, described as the Yeald Field, Heald Heigh, the Acre (with meadow adjoining on its north side) the Little Pingle, Coate Flatt, the close "Lying beneath the dwelling house of John Kinder" and Scissly Croft and all houses, buildings, appurtenances, etc, at the annual rent of 2d for the term of 50 years from the Feast Day of St Michael the Archangel last past [29 Sep], endorsed with sealing and delivery. Dated 13 Dec 1639
