| Administrative History | Records of Cantelupe School, Ilkeston and its predecessor schools from 1906. They include records of:-Hallcroft boys and girls schools which joined to become a mixed school in 1960, 1910-1977 (with some material later added to a file bringing it up to 1980). Gladstone Street boys and girls schools, reorganised along with Cavendish boys and girls schools in 1945, when the Gladstone girls and staff transferred to Cavendish School and the Cavendish boys and staff transferred to the Gladstone School, 1913-1977, with the log book of the Evening Continuation School 1906-1913. The Cavendish boys and girls schools reorganised in 1945 as described for the Gladstone Schools, 1929-1977. The Cantelupe School (mixed) which replaced all the schools referred to above. |
