Administrative History
The National School was built in 1849 for girls and infants as boys over the age of seven were educated at the Endowed Boys' School, dating from the eighteenth century. In 1955, the schools were amalgamated to form a primary school (infants and juniors).
Custodial History
The records were transferred in June 1991. In Jul 2016, a further accession was received, which was donated by a private individual.
