Administrative History
Raynesway is the base for the Derwent Division of the Severn Trent Water Authority. The site was first used as a sewerage works for Derby Borough Corporation in 1900, though the first stage of building was not completed until 1911. It is believed the photographs were taken in 1971 when new buildings were first used.
Custodial History
The photographs were donated to the Record Office in May 1991.
