Administrative History
Newbold Green School, Chesterfield was opened in 1955 as Newbold Green Secondary School, later becoming Newbold Green School. Under the reorganisation of the Secondary Schools in the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire Education Area it ceased being a separate school in August 1991 and combined with Violet Markham School to become Newbold Green Community School.
