Archive CreatorLady Manners School, Bakewell
Administrative HistoryLady Manners School, Bakewell, was founded by Grace, Lady Manners in 1636. The school was re-founded as a co-educational grammar school in 1896 in premises in Bath Street, Bakewell. It moved to its present site on Shutts Lane, Bakewell in 1938 and became a comprehensive school in 1972.
Custodial HistoryThe records were transferred to the Record Office in March 1991 and January 1993
