Administrative History | Twyford appears to have been a chapelry of Barrow upon Trent but with rights of baptisms and burials attached from early times. The two benefices have always been held conjointly. Twyford had no separate endowment and many papers relating to the church and its congregation will be found in the Barrow upon Trent parish records. Twyford seems to have begun using its own register books in the 1830s and 1840s. |
Custodial History | These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in May 1990 and March 2001. |
