Archive Creator	Cutthorpe Board School, later County Primary School
Administrative History	The present building was erected by Brampton and Walton School Board in 1884 to replace the cramped school which was already operating by 1880. The school continued into the late 1940's to teach children up to school leaving age.
Custodial History	The records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office in March 1990.
