Administrative History	The parish of Mickleover St John was created from the parish of Mickleover All Saints in 1962 during a period of rapid expansion in house building in the area. The parish includes the Silverhill, Inglewood and Rough Heanor estates. A new church was built as the Bishop Rawlinson Memorial Church in 1963.
Custodial History	These records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office at various dates between December 1989 and August 2005 and in August 2022.
