Administrative History	Records of the parish of St Swithuns, Holmesfield from 1673 (with some earlier documents relating to property). Holmesfield was originally a chapelry in the parish of Dronfield (for Dronfield parish records see D2441). It became a separate parish in 1857 and now forms part of a group ministry with Dronfield.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in September 1989, March 1992 and May 1994. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer JW.
