Archive Creator	Tupton Parish Council
Administrative History	Tupton Parish Council was established under the provisions of Local Government Act 1894. It helped to provide public amenities and services such as street lighting, recreation grounds, footpaths and public seating, as well as liaise with other local authorities over proposals or issues that might concern the area.
Custodial History	This records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office by the Parish Council in April 1989, August 1995, June 2000 and July 2003.
