Derby Derwent Secondary School and predecessors
Administrative History
Nottingham Road Senior Boys and Girls Schools opened in October 1932 and were later renamed Derwent County Secondary Schools for Boys and Girls. The schools were amalgamated in 1964 to become Derwent School at Beaufort Street. When the school closed in 1985, pupils in the first and second years transferred to Darwin School and pupils in the third year transferred to Henry Cavendish School.
Custodial History
Acquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1987 and 1995. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer JW.
