| Administrative History | From its inception in 1894, the Council was responsible for the provision of water supply to its constituent parishes. It was run by 2 committees for the southern and northern parts of its area. In 1936, the Council agreed with Dronfield and Staveley UDCs to form the North East Derbyshire Joint Water Committee. |
