Administrative History
The Committee was formed in pursuance of the terms of an agreement between Chesterfield Rural District Council, Dronfield Urban District Council and Staveley District Council for the provision of a public water supply in 1936. The Committee was absorbed into the North Derbyshire Water Board in 1963, although not formally wound up until 1966.
