Administrative History
Formed as the Chesterfield and Bolsover Water Board in 1933, it served the areas of the Borough of Chesterfield and Bolsover Urban District Council (taking over their water undertakings) and the parishes of Brampton, Brimington, Hasland and Walton. The area of Clowne Rural District Council was added and its name changed in 1951. The Board was absorbed into the North Derbyshire Water Board in 1963.
