Administrative HistorySt Thomas, Litchurch (in Derby), was formed in 1883 from the parish of St James. St Christopher, a mission church and chapel of ease to St Thomas, was built in 1903. The Revd A J Maxwell, vicar of St Thomas, moved to South Collingham in 1907
