Administrative HistoryA Bakewell National School for boys, girls and infants opened in Bath St., Bakewell, in 1872. The boys and girls schools merged in 1932. In 1949 the Bath St. school became a seondary boys' school which amalgamated with Lady Manners School, Bakewell, in about 1973. The infants school remained in Bath St.
