Administrative HistoryFrank Lloyd resigned at the end of January, stating that this was due to the poor organisation in the division. Later correspondence shows that his relationship with Lewis Straw prompted his withdrawal. Subsequently a decision was taken to dismiss Lewis Straw as Agent. There is a copy of a report following an enquiry by the National Union of Labour Organisers into these events. In November, Lewis Straw applied for a positon as Agent in Whitechapel, for which position he was interviewed.
