Description
These charities were provided in aid of Whitfield school, for clothing in Glossop, also a vault in Glossop (and towards a sermon). Hague's charity for the poor was dealt with separately.Remaining charities in Glossop, were St Thomas' Day (CaptGarlick's), Gisborne's, Wood's hospital, George Roberts' war sermon, Partington Convalescent and Nurses Home, Olive and Partington pension funds, Hague's (for the poor), Canon C W Tasker's, and the J H Warhurst request.
