With buildings drawn on and field names and acreages, adjoining land of Mr Pegg to south west
Described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Endorsed 'Woodeaves Farm Survey AD 1748-9 Scale: of 10 chains [1:1850]. Size: 72 x 59 cm. Materials: ink, some colour on parchment. Centred on: SK184154 Notes: elaborate decoratice compass rose, NNW at top. Shows named fields with numbers and areas, including Grovesnor Wood: detailed perspective drawing of house and outbuildings, streams and trees drawn: roads labelled 'Road to Tissington' and 'Road to Ashbourne': Explanation gives details of buildings including Lime Kiln: adjacent landowners named: some later pencil additions.
