Glad she likes his Rome cottage. Mr Mills's illness. Hopes to go to Egypt in August and September with Champollion `the man of hieroglyphics' if he gets a French man of war to take them. Regards to Lord and Lady Compton. Has had letter from Charlotte Lindsay.
