Title
Notes on Bakewell estates
Date
early 18th cent
Description
The original catalogue entry relating to this notebook suggested a date of c1650. However, this has been amended to "early 18th cent" because the text refers to the Duke of Rutland, a title which was conferred in 1703. The handwriting style suggests the notes date from the first half of the 18th century.
