Description	Feoffment by William Cockaine of Hognaston to William Cockaine jr of Hognaston, of a messuage at Hognaston, with 2 closes of meadow or pasture called Ballance and But Hill, in fee simple 10 Oct 1662 and Settlement whereby William Cockaine with William Cockaine junior and Robert Cockaine his sons, convey to Thomas Kniveton of Mugginton and Francis Jerom of Nether Burrowes the messuage at Hognaston, with the Ballance and But Hill, upon trust to the use of William Cockaine junior for life, then to the use of William Cockaine, grandson of William Cockaine the elder, in tail general 19/20 Aug 1678
