TitleLetter - George Tompson in London to Thomas Gell - at the request of his friend he came to deal with him for his wool and concluded a bargain for some part. Writer has talked with the Italians who say they will buy none yet - they are offered lead by many merchants at £7 6 8d the fother but the plumbers will give £7-10s when they need it - writer put Mr Banes in mind of Mr Lowe's and Gell's wool but he said flatly he would buy none of it because the goodness is altered so much - his lord and his company stay 7 days longer because the States of the Lowe Countrie are come over - letters are brought to the Council of late of the great provision in Spain for England and a messenger has come from the Prince of Parma
