Letter - Richard Purslen in London to Antony Gell - 2 months ago Mr Haywode died of the plague - last Wednesday the writer and family all in great doubt lest they should have broken up comynce - the cause was Mr Babyngton who loves to `solas' himself abroad and came home and was sick - Mr Pryncypall sent his water to a `vicisson' [physician] who said he had the plague but offered to warrant him if Mr Principal gave him 4s - Mr Babynton kept his chamber 2 days - now he is well again
