Release by William Eyre of Highlow to Sir Philip Gell - reciting settlement in trust by Sir John Gell II to Eyre and William Sacheverell (now decd) for the raising of money for the payment of such debts as he may owe at his death and for the payment of legacies, of lands in Wirksworth, Duffield and Carsington and for settling the same upon Sir Philip Gell - and whereas Sir John bequeathed various legacies and directed by his will that Eyre and Sacheverell should raise money to pay the same from the trust estates, afterwards conveying the lands to Philip - and whereas Sir Philip has paid his father's debts and funeral expenses and divers legacies - of the trust estates, to enable Gell to raise £1000 to pay the remainder of a legacy of £4000 to his sisters Elizabeth and Temperance. 1 Apr
