Release and quitclaim by Henry Stortrede of Mugginton, chaplain, Thomas Alsop of Hognaston and John Wigley of Wirksworth, to Thomas Wigley of Wirksworth, of all their right etc to 1 messuage etc at Kirk Ireton, between the messuages of Thomas Kerney on the east and John Kerney on the west, with 2 bovates of land and a croft called Tente Crofte, and to ½ acre arable and 2 butts abutting on Townelane on the south and Haythornhill on the north, which he had of the gift of Thomas Stortrede of Kirk Ireton. Witnesses: Roger Vernon, bailiff of Wirksworth, Thomas Harvy of same, John Gell of Hopton, William Heyr [Eyre] of Callow and John Dey of Kirk Ireton
