Grant by Richard Spunrecurteys of Hognaston, to Henry de Hopton, of 2 pieces of meadow at Hognaston, viz one in le Medwehalw between the land of Alexander de Atlow and the land of William son of Juliane, extending from le Witbrok, and the other (½ acre) between the meadow of William de la More and arable known as le Ruding.Witnesses: Henry son of Thomas de Hopton, Robert Spurnecurteys, Henry le Heyr [Eyre], Walter de Underwood, Robert de Wensley, and Richard the clerk. Dated at Hognaston, Sunday, the day after St Nicholas the Confessor [7 Dec]
