Grant by Thomas Hervy of Wirksworth to Henry Vernon knight, Thomas Babington of Dethick esq, Richard Blackwall and Thomas Storer of Wirksworth, John Gell of Hopton and John Wigley of Wirksworth, of a messuage at Wirksworth, between the tenement of William Glossop and le Hannege Broke, a close called Pithay, a close called Ladycrofte, a plot of land known as Dandryddyng and 1½ acre below Gylkhyll, which he had of the grant of Henry Statham. Witnesses: James Rolleston of le Lee, Ralph Pole of Wakebridge, Richard Smith, vicar of Wirksworth, Richard Wynfeld [Winfield] and William Glossop of Wirksworth. Dated at Wirksworth, 19 Oct, 8 Hen VII
