No scales, sizes 4 × 32 cm and 34 × 31 cm
These maps are described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Mr. Sam'l Hutchinson's Rough Survey map of Car'ton. [1709]. Surveyor: Samuel Hutchinson. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 38.5 x 33.5 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: SK252534 Notes: no orientation. Shows fields, areas and some field-names, buildings and roads: calculations on reverse. Location: DRO, D258/18/6/22
