Lord John Cavendish to Philip Gell - hears that Gell has in succeeded in calling a county meeting - hopes it will be well attended - Barker says that there is a mistake in the Sheriff's advertisement - the passion with which the Middlesex and other petitions are worded takes much from their weight - the Yorkshire petition seems to be the best model - will get a sketch petition drawn up. 27 Oct
