Title
John Grant at Bath [Somerset] to Philip Gell in London- called on Mr Mansfield on Saturday of paying the balance due at Lady Day but found him so ill he could not sign the receipts - Mansfield is still not well and has asked him to procure a draft for the amount and send it to Stevenson and Co. - Mansfield has deducted £18-4s. from the balance due from Grant to Gell for half a year's salary. 4 May
