John Gell to Philip Gell - had a third victory over the enemy yesterday - carried by 3 to 1 and Lord Oxford has promised to attend - all Gell's friends attended yesterday - spoke to Wilberforce but could not get him to move into the House - have settled with the Erewash at no reduction in coal and coke and half in all other goods - not to take their water into summit level -Bloxam says he will see us through the Lords. 26 May
