TitleDeed of partition (by way of lease and release) with covenant to produce title deeds between Martha Woodward of Barlborough, spinster, William Henry Fletcher of Pentrich Mill, miller, and Jane his wife (formerly Jane Woodward), Job Turton of Heanor butcher, and Phebe his wife (formerly Phebe Woodward), John Ray of Lenton Abbey gent, and Bryan Thomas Balguy of Derby gent, (Ray's trustee - interested in an undivided fourth part of the property by virtue of D255 M/T 18-20) and Sinckler Porter of Derby gent, by which Woodward, Fletcher, Turton, Ray and Balguy have released to Porter, a messuage or tenement and butcher's shop, stable and cowhouse now in the occupation of Job Turton;
a messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement with shop in the occupation of Samuel Pynegar;
a messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement in Heanor in the occupation of Job Turton;
a woodshop and premises in Heanor in the occupation of Thomas Woodhead;
two parcels of land in Heanor called the Barn Croft and Little Field Meadow, the former now divided into three namely the Pasture Close, Two Acres Field and Malthouse Croft (9 acres), now in the occupation of George Whysall, the latter also now divided into three, Little Field, Far Field, and Far Field (10 acres 1 rood 32 perches);
with all coal mines, minerals etc and all tithes: [plan and terrier on the reverse of the fourth skin:] to be held to various uses:
a) The messuage, tenement and malt office in the occupation of George Whysall and 1 acre 6 perches of the close called Malthouse Croft, Two Acres Field 2 acres 32 perches and Pasture Close 2 acres 6 perches (all formerly part of Barn Close), an undivided third share in a pew in Heanor church and third of all mines and minerals (except those limited to John Ray) to the use of Martha Woodward.
b) The messuage, dwellinghouse or tenement in the occupation of Job Turton with garden and orchard 1 rood 37 perches, and the messuage in the occupation of Job Turton, a piece of land 1 rood 37 perches being the other part of Malthouse Croft (formerly part of the Barn Croft);
also another parcel 2 acres 2 roods 3 perches being part of the Near Field, a close 1 acre 3 roods 14 perches being part of the Far Field now in the occupation of Job Turton, all tithes and one third share in pew in Heanor church and all mines and minerals (except those limited to John Ray), to the use of William Henry Fletcher
c) The messuage tenement and shop in the occupation of Samuel Pynegar with butcher's shop, barn, stables and cowhouse in the occupation of Job Turton, the woodshop in the occupation of Thomas Woodhead, a parcel of land 3 acres 2 roods 6 perches, the Pasture Close (formerly part of the Barn Croft), a parcel of land 1 acre 35 perches being part of the Near Field, a parcel of land 2 roods 3 perches being part of the Far Field and one third share in a pew in Heanor church and mines and minerals (except those limited to John Ray), to the use of Job Turton
d) A parcel of land 2 acres 2 roods 22 perches being the remainder of the Near Field and 2 acres 2 roods 14 perches being the remainder of the Little Field (both formerly part of the Little Field Meadow) and all minerals under them to the use of John Ray. 26 and 27 April
