Administrative History
The college was founded in 1931 as Clowne Technical College. It later changed its name to North East Derbyshire College of Further Education. The college marked its golden jubilee (1931-1981) with celebrations in 1982. It become known as North Derbyshire Tertiary College in 1991, before closing in 2002. The college buildings on Rectory Road were demolished.
