| Administrative History | In 1913 the Trent Motor Traction Co Ltd was established out of Commercial Car Hirers to provide finance for extension of local bus services. The first routes operated by the company were Derby to Ashbourne, Derby to Alfreton, and Alfreton, Clay Cross, Tupton and Chesterfield. Services to Melbourne and Burton from Derby followed a year later. |
