Administrative History | The Society is the largest of its kind in the East Midlands. As well as maintaining and championing traditional rural skills, it seeks to interpret these to a wider audience and specifically to develop links with local schools. The Society holds an annual show which attracts large numbers of people. |
Custodial History | The records of the Brailsford and District Ploughing and Hedgecutting Society were first deposited in the Record Office in June 1981. Since then the annual schedules and programmes have regularly been added to the deposit, as well as some video footage. |
