Title
To William Philp Perrin at Tanhurst: the Marlborough packet has arrived at Falmouth with mail from the West Indies; a French privateer has been captured, but London knows nothing of the 98-gun "London" being beached or wrecked; hopes Perrin has now received his spectacles; everywhere is covered with snow - cannot recollect it being colder all winter.
