The description reads as follows: Endorsed 'Plan of part of Melbourne Common proposed to be given up to Mr. George Orton' [18c.]. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 38 x 52 cm. Materials: sepia ink and pencil on stiff paper. Centred on: ?SK3724 Notes: no orientation. Sketch plan showing 4 enclosures, 19 acres, with osier plantation, gorse and brook.
