John Phillips is to take a house, outbuildings, garden and lands called the Old Piece (2 acres 1 rood 13 perches) in exchange for an allotment of land on Warslow Common (4 acres 1 rood 35 perches)
By order of the Inclosure Commissioners
With memorandum of agreement between Sir John Harpur Crewe and Anthony Beresford for the exchange of different pieces of land (Sir John is to give up a garden formerly part of The Croft in exchange for a parcel of ground called Brindley's Garden at Stanshope), 6 Apr 1854
