TitleHandwritten letter from Dora Axon to Charles Ogden
Date19 Dec 1951
DescriptionSends good wishes for Christmas and New Year and recognises that not everyone keeps Christmas. She is well and hopes he is well. Believes he should visit Buxton. Mentions despair at local administration and failed proposals to move the library. Mentions performance of Messiah: met the person who had earlier asked to play her violin. Asks questions intended for Ogden's friend who is knowledgeable about sonics. Asks if Ogden has visited an exhibition in London of wool figures by Lilian Lunn, a Buxton resident. Asked by NZ brother-in-law to place his novel; but feels it has no merit as a novel.
