Description
Reports that after a week's holiday Whaley Bridge and Buxton libraries feel remote. Describes confusion of communications about her appointment to a library post in Buxton. Discusses her thoughts about taking leave then resigning from the Whaley Bridge job and about the prospect of the new job. Discusses the interview. Asks about the fate of Basic. Reports this holiday to have been better than a previous one; mentions positively the walk leader at the holiday. Mentions a letter from Raymond Richards, author of Cheshire Churches; wishing to buy Ernest's notes about Nonconformist history. Has followed advice and forwarded the request to the P[ublic] T[rustee]. Would prefer the notes to have been in Manchester library Feels the need for the books to be disposed of soon. Alludes to conflcting valuations of the notes. Has written with a borrowed pen.
